This is the official page of the Estate of Charlotte A. Jirousek.

Her book, Ottoman Dress and Design in the West: A Visual History of Cultural Exchange will be published March 1, 2019 by Indiana University Press.

Jirousek’s  personal papers and a large part of her personal research library are now in the Cornell University Libraries.

Her collections of costume and ethnographic textiles and objects are in the Cornell Costume Collection, and the Anthropology Collections.  If you are interested, please contact them directly.
